Hospitals can help with airway problems, severe swelling, or bleeding that won't stop, and may give antibiotics or pain relief — but they don't do dental treatment. For the actual fix (the tooth, and the infection at its source) you'll still need a dentist, so if it isn't life-threatening, call us first.
We always try to save your natural tooth first — often with a filling, a root canal, or re-cementing a crown. An extraction is a last resort, for when a tooth truly can't be saved. We'll explain your options and the price before anything begins.
